Firmware links

The most recent firmware version appears at the top of this page (also on the Releases page). If you need to revert to a previous version for any reason, check here to see if it is possible or not.

To update the firmware, please download the appropriate file(s), then follow the instructions on the following pages.

Be careful not to upload the wrong firmware file to the controller or receiver! The receiver can be recovered should you accidentally upload the controller firmware to it, by simply re-uploading the receiver firmware - however, you may lose your configuration data.

If you upload the receiver software to the controller, you will "brick" it, and you will have to return it to us for repair!

April 2026 - Version 1.1.0

Controller

Download the controller firmware by clicking this link.  BWTT-controller-v1.1.0.bin

This version of the firmware is fully backward compatible with v1.0.0. It can be used with v1.0.0 or v1.1.0 receivers - the new functionality will be disabled for v1.0.0 receivers.

Receiver

Download the receiver firmware by clicking this link: BWTT-receiver-v1.1.0.bin

This version of the firmware is fully backward compatible with v1.0.0. It can be used with v1.0.0 or v1.1.0 controllers. The new functionality will not be visible on v1.0.0 controllers.

All settings are preserved, so you will not need to re-configure anything. when updating from v1.0.0

January 2026 - Version 1.0.0

Currently we do not have this version available for download. If you need to re-flash version 1.0.0 after updating to v1.1.0, and this page has not been updated with download links, please contact us via our support website or email address.
